I had such an amazing weekend spending some quality time with my boyfriend. Lately we have been trying to do something new and exciting every weekend, we have been trying to find places to go or activities to do that are cheap or free.
This weekend we went to the gym together for the 1st time in a pretty long time. He was so thoughtful to have a plan all mapped out for our visit and since his gym lets him bring a guest every time he comes I got to go workout with him for free!
After the gym we got ready to get eat some amazing food at Imperial bar which is a taco place. This restaurant has amazing chips and salsa but the real VIP is their tacos. We definitely ordered too much food but it was soo worth the stomach ache!
On Sunday we went out for a great breakfast together and some well needed cups of coffee. I always find that the weekends are where my body decides I have not had enough sleep during the week and I must either sleep in until noon or drink multiple cups of coffee. After breakfast we went to the mall to just walk around, browse stores and take our must needed photo booth pictures. We have a routine that whenever we pass a photo booth we must take pictures together. We are always searching high and low for a booth at new places that we visit & since we were at the mall that houses a few good photo booths we knew a photo shoot session was needed!
After dinner we decided to go downtown to a new cafe we have never been to before. With the help of Instagram I found a cafe called Atomic Coffee which was such an amazing place to be. The atmosphere of the place was amazing, majority of people there were alone and working on their computers or keeping busy doing something but I definitely want to go back if I need a place to get some work done alone! We ordered house special lattes (I got the lavender infused latte and he got the cinnamon and cayenne infused latte) both were delicious but next time I want to try their cold brew coffee which apparently is the reason why so many people live in their booths.
After our coffee date we decided to go for a walk down the main street to a little bakery that had the the most amazing looking desserts! I was in love with the way the street looked at night with all the streets lit up. It was an amazing ending to a great weekend.
